Dolphin Therapy Programs

In the summer months, Island Dolphin Care provides one day camps for small groups from Hospitals and Rehabilitation/Therapy Centers in South Florida.

** This program is for children with critical/terminal illness, emotional, and/or physical challenges. Campers spend an exciting day meeting with our staff, learning about and swimming with dolphins! Participants also visit the marine science education program, Fonzie's Backyard. At Fonzie's Backyard, children are provided a hands on experience with some of the interesting, smaller creatures that inhabit the beautiful waters of South Florida. Campers enjoy a picnic lunch overlooking our dolphin lagoons and have fun creating an art project to take home.
